I purchased a ruff tough kennel like 6 years ago, I think it is intermediate sized. I haven’t modified it at all. What would I need to do to it for it to be airline compliant? Add handles? Maybe a door change?

If you scroll all the way down on the home page under customer service there is a spot where we list the airline requirements. I would also recommend calling the airline you are flying with to see exactly what they recommend

I bought the xl kennel why can’t we have a cushy ride kennel pad that fits the xl and cover the whole floor?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – September 3, 2019
Jason, we are working on finding a kennel pad that fits all our kennels. Unfortunately we still wont have them for another few months. Primo Pad currently sells kennel pads that fit all the kennels

What is the weight limit for these handles? I need them to be able to hold the kennel and a 100lb dog for TSA to load into the plane
orders@rufflandkennels.com – February 4, 2019
Scott, we don’t know exactly what the limit is. However, I spoke to the owner and he said you’ll be fine. We once did a test and threw some sand bags in a kennel to mimic the weight of a large dog and left the kennel hanging by the handles and they held up just fine
