Brandon, yes it can be used for the right side door. There is an opening on the front and back, and one side, so depending on which side door option you have, you would just turn the kennel around.

There is a mesh “door” there on the right side but the dog is not able to go in or out of it

Are there 4 zippers (2 pairs) on each door? (to zip “back” on the ruffland tie down brackets)
John Tyson – December 13, 2019
does the cover not fit the ex lge kennel?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – December 30, 2019
We only offer sizes for the Intermediate and Large Kennels. Mud River carries a kennel cover that fits our kennels. It is a very tight squeeze but it will fit
orders@rufflandkennels.com – October 17, 2019
Yes there are a couple zippers on the door so you can still use those items
Dustin Henry – September 13, 2019
I have two large kennels, secured together with the RTK kit. How does that effect the use of this cover? I am looking to purchase two units.
orders@rufflandkennels.com – September 13, 2019
If you purchase our kennel covers you can make the coupler kit work. If you have kennel covers from Mud River you will not be able to
Chad Fritz (verified owner) – August 27, 2019
Very well made cover, but not at all Insulated. It’s lined no better than a common windbreaker. Definitely not insulation. I was a bit disappointed at almost $200 delivered.
Michael – October 17, 2019
did you have trouble getting over your crate?
Holly – August 16, 2019
does the cover work for your XL kennel also?
Jeff – October 10, 2019
But will it fit or is it going to tear because it’s too tight?
I have not heard of any issues of it tearing from being too tight. Once you get it on it is a good fit, it is just hard to get it on in the first place
orders@rufflandkennels.com – August 26, 2019
Holly, we do not offer a kennel cover for our XL Kennel. You can get one through Mud River however, their xl size will be a very tight fit on the kennel
Allen Wilson – August 11, 2019
You have noted elsewhere the you will not be supporting your XL Kennel by having a cover made for it. Who do you suggest who makes a cover for this kennel?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – August 12, 2019
Allen, MudRiver’s XL will fit our XL kennel. Although, it will be a very tight fit
Mike – August 2, 2019
Will this cover still fit and zipper up with the fan on the front.
orders@rufflandkennels.com – August 6, 2019
Yes, you can use the fan with the kennel cover just fine
Gary – June 29, 2019
When will you make a cover for the extra large?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – July 3, 2019
Gary, I haven’t heard any plans of making a kennel cover for the XL Kennel
PD – May 25, 2019
Do you have a cover that fits the XL size?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – May 28, 2019
We do not offer a size that fits, but you can order from Mud River and they have a size that will fit
Sean – April 14, 2019
For a worst case scenario, if it’s -20F and I’m driving down the highway at 75mph, will this be warm enough for a black lab? I’ve seen some of the other covers mention that this will generally raise the ambient tempt in the kennel by XX degrees F. Inside of the kennel we’d put an insulated kennel mat and some blankets too. If anyone had experience with this sort of a setup, I’d appreciate knowing what temp ranges are okay.
orders@rufflandkennels.com – April 29, 2019
Generally many of our customers dogs our kept safe at those temps, however I cannot speak specifically on those temps driving down the highway.
Andy Chapman – April 14, 2019
What size MUD River cover fits a large Ruff land kennel better? Large or extended?
Andy, we have kennel covers that are made by MudRiver that fit our kennels specifically
Hunter – April 3, 2019
Do you sell single door kennel covers?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – April 4, 2019
We only sell the double door kennel covers, however obviously still work for the single door kennels
WARD Johnson – March 10, 2019
Will a mud river size large cover fit a size large ruff kennel?
Ryan Lynch – October 26, 2019
Yeah but the MR kennels are actually insulated unlike these unfortunately. Would you be so kind as to answer the question for us up in colder states like ND where these unlined options just don’t do much but break the wind? I wish I could purchase yours but MR makes ones with actual insulation. I hope you understand. Thanks in advance.
orders@rufflandkennels.com – October 28, 2019
Our kennel covers that we have them make are insulated. I do not know exactly what size of theirs fit our large, you will need to go on their website and compare dimensions. It looks like their large will fit best, but you will have a couple inches on each side. We are located in SD and have many local people that use our kennel covers with no issues. Please note they are not made for our kennels and will not fit the kennel.
orders@rufflandkennels.com – March 11, 2019
We offer kennel covers for our large kennel. They are made by mud river but made specifically for our kennels
Steve Mahoney – February 24, 2019
Can you put on kennel jackets for kennels that are fastened together? Will the hardware work?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – February 26, 2019
You can make it work, however you would have to have the corner of the kennel cover unzipped to make it work
Edie – February 6, 2019
Can the crate still be strapped with crate accessory tie downs with this cover…and can it then be zipped shut?
orders@rufflandkennels.com – February 18, 2019
Edie, there are straps on the outer corners of the kennel covers that you can use tie down straps on. Or you can unzip the sides and our tie down kits can be used
