Hannah Saddler experienced what every pet owner fears most: a serious car accident with her two dogs in tow. While Hannah sustained minor injuries, including whiplash, bruised ribs, and airbag burns, she was beyond grateful that her dogs walked away completely unharmed.
Hannah’s dogs always travel in their RuffLand® Kennels, and during the crash, the kennels proved to be lifesaving. "I turned around immediately to check on them and was so relieved to see them alert and calm in their crates," Hannah shared. Despite the force of the crash ripping one of the ratchet strap anchor points from her car, the crates remained intact, keeping her dogs safe and secure.
First responders, including two K-9 handlers, were quick to point out the crucial role the RuffLand® Kennels played. "Both officers told me the crates saved absolutely their lives and probably mine too," Hannah noted, emphasizing that unrestrained dogs in a collision could become dangerous projectiles.
In the chaotic aftermath of the accident, the RuffLand® Kennels continued to provide security and peace of mind. The first responders carefully removed her nervous smaller dog, still in her crate, preventing any risk of flight. Her larger dog, a friendly GSP, stayed calm and comfortable as his crate was safely extricated.
Thanks to the durability and thoughtful design of RuffLand® Kennels, both dogs were back to their playful selves immediately after the ordeal. Hannah’s story is a powerful testament to how these crates ensure safety not just during travel but in the most extreme circumstances.
